Additional information on TIMES conversion

During the upcoming ETSAP meeting, there will be a possibility for participants to work parallel to the scheduled sessions on Monday and Thursday on the migration to TIMES of their own (national) MARKAL database/model. It is recommended to bring your own (laptop) computer to work from there.

Different steps can be envisaged:

* preparing the database for TIMES

* running TIMES for different number of periods

* use of VEDA to compare results

If there is sufficient interest and participation, a common session could be envisaged on Thursday. This will be decided during the course of the meetings.
