The main goal of this site is to submit the European MARKAL MATTER 2.0 results for peer review by ETSAP, MATTER and BRED project participants. Comments from third party experts can also be helpful in the further elaboration and calibration of the model.

The model input parameters for these calculations are based on detailed studies by a large number of experts from a number of institutes. The translation of these sector studies into model equations is the work of ECN. A considerable number of sector reports are available online (packaging, transportation equipment, buildings and infrastructure, natural organic materials, synthetic organic materials, basic metals, ceramic and inorganic materials).
